Patricia S. Pense

Patricia S. Pense, 70, of Logansport, is at rest in Heaven after valiantly battling Covid-19. She passed away peacefully into the waiting arms of her Savior on Saturday evening, January 23, 2021, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born May 9, 1950, in Wabash, she was the daughter of the late Carlton and Florence (Carpenter) Campbell.

Pat was married on August 18, 1970, in Wabash, to Joe Pense, who survives.

A graduate of Wabash High School, Pat had a strong work ethic. She was retired from Arby’s where she had worked in customer service for 20 years. Prior to that, she had worked for over 10 years at General Tire.

Pat was an active member of the Church of the Heartland, She enjoyed the women’s group at church and lived her faith by her example of helping others. In 1997, she was the recipient of the Good Neighbor award and was presented with the key to the city.

Surviving with her husband of nearly 51 years, Joe Pense, are three sons, Scott (Lynn) Pense, Ryan Pense, and Christopher Pense, all of Logansport; two brothers, David (CiCi) Cmpbell, Melbourne, Florida, and Mike (Linda) Campbell, Wabash; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rochelle, Jayda, Isabella, Kiahla and Levi.

A Funeral Service celebrating Pat’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 30 at the Church of the Heartland, 101 North Cicott St., with Pastor Ben Grant officiating.

Friends will be received from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 29 also at the Church of the Heartland in addition to visitation prior to the service on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Heartland.
