Richard (Dick) Graf

Richard “Dick” Graf, 80, of Logansport, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at his residence from natural causes, NOT Covid-19.

Born on October 30, 1940 in Onward, Indiana, he is the son to the late Russell and Erma (Johnson) Graf.  On November 11, 1961 in Logansport, he married Connie L. Morris who survives, they would have celebrated 60 years together this November.

Dick was a plant manager and jack of all trades at Myer’s Spring Company for 43 years.  He was a 1958 graduate of Tipton Township High School and a member of First United Methodist Church. Dick and Connie spent their winters in Zephyrhills, Florida. Dick enjoyed bowling, playing golf, and enjoyed watching the Hoosiers, Colts, and racing. He took special interest in the Twelve Mile 500 and loved to watch his sons and grandchidren race in it.

Surviving along with his wife Connie are two sons, Mark (Beverly) Graf of Logansport, IN, Kevin L. (Stephanie) Graf of Cincinnati, OH; two grandsons, Tyler Graf of Charlotte, NC, Cameron Graf of Logansport, IN; granddaughter, Kristen Graf of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Madelyn (Ken) Putnam of Pascoag, RI; Special Friends, Vijay & Nayana and the Patel Family of Cincinnati; Francisco & Maria Pineda and their Family of Logansport; Mike & Rhonda Montgomery and their Family.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Michael Graf; sister, Karen Graf.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Mike Montgomery officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
