Susan K. Phillipy, age 75, Logansport, passed away at 5:27 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital.
Born April 5, 1945, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Victor and Marjorie Mehaffie Baumann.
On January 9, 1971, she was married to Charles Phillipy, who survives.
Susan was a retired school bus driver for the Logansport School Corporation. In earlier years she had been employed in the parts and service department at Sears, also as a bookkeeper for Billy Brummet Heating and Schrader’s Auto Parts.
She was a graduate of Washington Township High School and attended Ball State University. Susan was a member of the Willing and Able Extension Homemakers Club.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Also surviving are daughters, Tressa (Stephen) Bowman, Walton, Leslie Phillipy (friend, Steven Blair), Logansport; son, Garrett (Katherine) Phillipy, Logansport; grandchildren, Lucas (Abby) Bowman and Cpl. Matthew Bowman, USMC.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The rosary and funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, also at the funeral home.
