Toni M. Savini

Toni M. Savini, 64, Logansport, passed away at 7:23 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health Care, Lafayette.

Toni was born in Logansport on July 3, 1956. Her grandparents Theodore and Dorothea Anderson preceded her in death.

Her mother, Joanne Henry Harris, also preceded her in death.

Toni was married on May 1, 1976, in Logansport, to Jack L. Savini, who survives.

Toni was currently the director of the Cass County Visitors Bureau. Previously she had been employed at the Holiday Inn of Logansport as manager of catering.

A 1974 graduate of Logansport High School, throughout her life she was an active member of the Logansport community, involved in many organizations too numerous to mention. Several of those organizations include Logan’s Landing, where she was a volunteer, along with her granddaughter Lily, at the downtown Christmas Open House.

She also helped develop the Pop-Up Art and History Trail. Toni served Historic Michigan Road Board, Hometown Collaboration Initiative and Logansport Re-imagined Committee and the Logansport Complete Streets Committee.

Toni was Past Worthy Advisor of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls, an affiliate of the Masonic Lodge.

She enjoyed genealogy and ancestry studies, but especially she enjoyed the activities of her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Toni is survived by a son, Nicholas “Nick” (Jennifer) Savini, Logansport; brother, Les Harris, Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, DaCotah Landis, Levi Landis, Kate Miller and Lilyan Savini.

Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Tina Wiese, Logansport, brothers-in-law, Michael (Rosie) Savini, Plainfield, IN, Pat (Janet) Savini, Newton, IA; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death were a brother-in-law, Jerry Wiese, and nephew, Neil Strasser.   

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Kroeger Funeral Home. An informal remembering of Toni’s life will be at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, also at the funeral home.

Full Cass County COVID restrictions will be observed at the funeral home.
