Earl W. Bangel

Earl W. Bangel, 91, of Lake Bruce passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family.

Born on November 5, 1929 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Lillian (Deerberg) Bangel.

He was a Warren Central High School graduate.

On February 27, 1954, he married Mary L. Dellinger. She preceded in death on April 9, 2010.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Germany during the Korean Conflict.  Earl was a lifelong farmer. 

He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Lake Bruce. Earl and Mary enjoyed square dancing.

Survivors include his children, Darel W. Bangel and his wife, Nancy of Alabama, Linda L. Bangel of Michigan, Louis A. Bangel and his wife, Jean of Winamac and Bruce D. Bangel and his wife, Theresa of Indianapolis and brother, Glenn Bangel of Greenfield. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

He was also preceded in death by sister, Vera Lynch and her husband, Thomas.

Private family services will be held.

Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lake Bruce.

The family request that memorial contributions be made to Fulton County Community Foundation.
