Katherine M. Karmolinski

Katherine M. Karmolinski, 76, of Logansport, was surrounded by her family when she passed away very peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021, at her home.

Born December 8, 1944, in Lansing, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth R. (Langford) Seiber. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois.

Following high school, Katherine attended college. She worked as a waitress in Chicago. After moving to Logansport in 1995, she worked at the Waffle House. Katherine retired in 2002 from Walmart where she worked as a stocker.

Katherine had a Catholic upbringing and her faith was an important part of her life to the very end.

She was an avid reader who loved romance novels, mysteries and anything that looked interesting whether it was fiction or none fiction – she always had a good book close at hand.

Surviving are her husband, Walter F. Karmolinski, Logansport; her children, Jonny Amos, Logansport, Frank Karmolinski, Wisconsin, Rachel Karmolinski, Logansport, and Phillip Karmolinski, Logansport; three brothers, Charles (Theresa) Seiber, David Seiber, and Larry (Julie) Seiber; two sisters, Liz (Joe) Swedrock and Joanna Seiber; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter,Alicia Karmolinski; one brother, James “Jimmie” Seiber; three sisters, Patricia Wolf, Peggy Hulsart, and Carolyn Sue Deorflin; and two nephews, Randy Wolf and Vincent Lee.

A Funeral Service celebrating Katherine’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 17 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends will be received from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
