Rosemary Bauer, age 92, Logansport, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, in her residence.
Born in Logansport on Feb. 17, 1928, she was the daughter of Herman E. and Teresa Schnitz Bauer.
A 1946 graduate of Washington Township High School, Rosemary earned a bachelor’s degree from Mount Mary College, Milwaukee, and a Master of Education degree from Indiana University.
Rosemary had taught in the Southeastern School Corporation, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Ladies Society, Cass County Retired Teachers Association, Logansport Tourist Club and Our Lady of the Snows Study Club.
Surviving are a sister, Sister Loretta Bauer, SSND, Milwaukee; several nieces, nephews and numerous cousins, including Betty Cahalan, Logansport. Preceding her in death were brothers, Raymond Bauer, Charles Bauer, Thomas Bauer and Herman Bauer.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Gustavo Lopez officiating.
Full Cass County COVID precautions will be observed at the funeral home and church. Masks are required.
Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
