Betty L. Collins, 75, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in her residence.

Born on December 21, 1945 in North Manchester, Indiana, she is the daughter to the late Robert and Mary (Wyse) Koeniger. On May 23, 1990 in Logansport, IN she married David “Pickle” Collins who preceded in death on June 18, 2012.

Betty, along with her husband, both worked for General Tire for several years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving Betty are three daughters, Randie (Tinney) and Troy Veach of Delphi, IN, Stephanie (Baker) Lovings of VA, Sharen (Keith) Collins-Baxley of Huntsville, AL; son, James Baker of Fort Wayne, IN; five granddaughters, Kayla (Thomas) Brumbaugh of Fort Wayne, IN, Megan (Adam) Metzger of Royal Center, IN, Dawn (Kaleb) Streets of Fort Wayne, IN, Kim Baxley of Gainesville, FL, Erica Collins of Delphi, IN; six grandsons, Dakota Veach of Logansport, IN, Tylor (Mary) Gillum of Spencerville, OH, Larry Lovings III of VA, Josh (Sahara) Baxley of Seattle, WA, Joel Gomien of New Orleans, LA, Bryan (Erica) Collins of Deer Creek, IN; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Blevins of Knightstown, IN, Kathy Harvey of Royal Center, IN; brother, Roy (Joanne) Koeniger of WV; close friend, Dixie (Jim) Harper of Lafayette, IN; two pup-granddaughters, Ginger, Roxy; pup-grandson, Milo; two feline granddaughters, Windsor & Kitty; close neighbors, Ruben (Yari) Roque & little Ruben, Brian and Gary all of Logansport, IN.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Nickolas Lovings, brother, Danny Koeniger, sister in law Anna Koeniger; pup-daughter, Jacki, pup-grandson, Buster and pup-granddaughter, Annie.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
