Carlita Irene Williams, 76, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in her residence.
Born on April 12, 1944 in Lafayette, IN, she is the daughter to the late Maynard and Vesta (Cartmell) Boze. On September 6, 1969 in Logansport, she married David Lee Williams who preceded in death January 16, 2004.
Carlita was a retired surgical tech for Logansport Memorial Hospital. She also worked at Duke’s Hospital in Peru. In her spare time, she volunteered at the Salvation Army and Guardian Angel Hospice.
Surviving is a daughter, Angela (Tony) Lombardi of Logansport; someone who was like a daughter to Carlita, Michelle Midyette of Kokomo; several nieces, nephews, her beloved dog, Shaggy and her plump cat Izzy.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irma Hobbs and Marlene Tyler: and a brother, Philip Boze.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society or Cause for Paws.
