Cass: 5458 (9 new cases); 99 deaths, 3.4% positivity
Carroll: 1765 (1 new cases); 19 deaths (1 new), 3.6% positivity
Fulton: 1793 (3 new cases); 37 deaths, 5.9% positivity
Pulaski: 1067 (1 new case); 44 deaths, 5% positivity
Miami: 3576 (2 new cases); 63 deaths, 4.4% positivity
Howard: 9075 (16 new cases); 198 deaths, 2.5% positivity
White: 2974 (1 new case); 52 deaths, 4% positivity

According to the vaccine dashboard, the first dose has been administered to 5253individuals in Cass County and 2915 are fully vaccinated.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health announced today that 786 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 663,511 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

A total of 12,200 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of nine from the previous day. Another 433 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.    

To date, 3,127,593 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,123,029 on Tuesday. A total of 8,093,057 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.

Hoosiers age 55 and older, along with healthcare workers, long-term care residents and first responders who are regularly called to the scene of an emergency to render medical assistance, are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. As of today, 1,031,266 first doses of vaccine have been administered in Indiana, and 608,638 individuals are fully vaccinated.

Additional locations and appointments are being added as more vaccine becomes available.
