Mary Lou Willy, age 89, Logansport, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at McKinney Place.

Born March 5, 1931, in Wabash, she was the daughter of Carl and Clara Fettig Wecht.

On June 25, 1949, she was married to Victor M. Willy, Jr., who preceded her in death on April 5, 2016.

A homemaker, Mary Lou was a 1949 graduate of Logansport High School. She had been employed at Miller’s Dress Shop during her high school years.

She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.

Surviving are sons, William “Bill” Willy, Kentucky, Tom (Beth) Willy, Logansport, Steve (Gale) Willy, Star City; daughters, Deborah (Joe) James, Twelve Mile, Susie (P.J.) Jacks, Logansport, Barbara Woolever, Logansport; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A son, Victor Michael Willy III, half brother, Charles Wecht, and son-in-law, Ben Woolever, preceded her in death.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at All Saints Catholic Church with Fr. Adam Mauman officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Kroeger Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Visitation will also be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, one hour prior to Mass, at All Saints Catholic Church.

Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Cass County.
