Patricia “Pat” Gaumer

Patricia “Pat” Gaumer, 71, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Chase Center in Logansport.

Born on February 22, 1950 in Columbus, OH, she is the daughter to the late Thomas and Elnora Monahan.  On July 27, 1968 at Lockbourne Air Force Base in Ohio, she married Joe Gaumer who survives.

Pat, along with her husband, owned and operated Gaumer’s Grocery Store in Logansport.  They liked to travel and enjoyed visiting restaurants all over.  Pat loved to color, play Scrabble and watch Family Feud.  Her most cherished time was spent watching her grandchildren participate in their sporting events and activities.

Surviving along with her husband Joe, is a daughter, Dena (Randy) Kuhn of Logansport, IN; son, Pete (Terry) Gaumer of Independence, IA; five granddaughters, Cheyanne (Andy) Scales of Logansport, IN, Carley (Kobi Martindale) Camp of Logansport, IN, Chris (Monica) Kuhn of Wabash, IN, Kendra (Bruce) Oldham of Cicero, IN, Kate (Matti) Vanninen of Cary, NC; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Lowe and brother, Tommy Monahan.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tim McKaig officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday.
