Samuel Wayne Kochel, 76, of Headlee passed away at 11:50 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Michigan City.
Born on February 3, 1945 in Lafayette, he was the son of the late Samuel F. Kochel and Virginia Luse.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
On August 26, 1967 he married Susan Kersey, she survives.
Samuel enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Kochel of Headlee, sons, Kenneth Wayne Kochel of Virginia, Samuel David Kochel of Headlee and Jerry Lee Kochel of Headlee, sisters, Melody Ann Scahill (Thomas) of Ohio and Marsha McBlaine-Miller of Ohio, grandchildren, Dace, Shellayne, Samuel and Jacob and great grandchildren, Dace, Jr., Landon, Camby, John, Summer and Samuel.
There will be no visitation or service.
