Jennifer L. Layer, 56, of Royal Center passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on March 10, 1965 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Clarice (Weaver) Harlin.
She was a 1983 Logansport High School graduate.
On June 10, 1994 she married Mark A. Layer, he survives.
Jennifer was a former LPN and had worked at Camelot, Woodbridge Health Campus and the McKinney Place.
She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, gardening, cleaning, camping and most of all spending time with grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Mark A. Layer of Royal Center, daughter, Jessica LeMaster (Michael) of Logansport, brother, Jerry Harlin (Jynell) of Logansport, sister, Janette Hines (Scott) of Royal Center and grandchildren, Sydney and Savannah LeMaster both of Royal Center.
She was also preceded in death by her father and mother in law, Ernest Layer and Joyce Layer Miller.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 18, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center.
