Joe M. Zeider, 66, of Royal Center passed away at 5:33 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo.
Born on June 28, 1954 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Herbert and Marie (Haselby) Zeider Jr.
Joe was a Pioneer High School graduate.
He was a lifelong farmer. Farming was his work, but also his hobby. He enjoyed working the land more than anything. Joe also worked at the grain elevator when he was young and again in his later years. He was a jack of all trades and will be missed for his many skills. He also enjoyed his dogs over the years, most recently, Ginger and Biscuit.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Zeider of Royal Center, children, Mike Zeider of Royal Center, Jeff Zeider of Royal Center, Cathy Mendez (Mike) of Winamac, Faith Blount (Michael) of Lafayette and Derek Zeider of Royal Center. He is also survived by grandchildren, Luke Zeider, Landon Zeider, Sydni Zeider, Isabella Blount, Garrett Blount and Gabriella Blount.
Per Joe’s wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, Royal Center.
