Margaret Belle Mitchell Connell, 68, Logansport, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2021, at her home.
Born September 7, 1952, in Mulberry, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Mitchell and Lulu Belle Henderson.
On July 10, 1995, in the First United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was married to Bobbie J. Connie, who survives.
Margaret was retired and had worked as a truck driver for several years, riding with her husband across this great country.
For 37 years, Margaret raised horses and enjoyed showing them at horse shows with her son and grandchildren. Margaret was named State Champion in Indiana, taking top honors in the Pleasure Riding category.
Surviving with her husband of nearly 26 years are one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Shanna Emmons, of Peru; and three grandchildren, Lucus Carter, North Carolina, Karlie (Chuck) Shaw, Logansport, and Paul Nolen, Bedford, Texas..
A graveside service, at a later date, will be held at the Vance Cemetery in Texas.
