Dixie Lee Leffert

Dixie Lee Leffert, 79, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in her residence surrounded by her family.

Born on September 15, 1941 in Kalamazoo, MI, she is the daughter of the late John W. and Martha E. (Hobaugh) Williams.  On July 29, 1988 in Logansport, she married Keith A. Leffert who survives.

Dixie enjoyed crafts, sewing, bowling, spending time with her grandchildren and planning big family gatherings.

Surviving along with her husband Keith, are her children, John Anthony (Dawn) Firmani; Rodney (Kelly) Williams; Regina (Alberto) Haider; Troy (Holly) Leffert; Lori (Brad) Myers; her grandchildren, Sarah; Anna; Sophie; Jessica; Logan; Matthew; Paige; Johann; Kristiann; Kyra; Konner; Carly and Nathan; two great grandchildren; her sister, Patricia S. (Jerry) Russell; sister in law, Judy Williams and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Gina Marie Firmani; a son, Todd E. Monroe and a brother, John W. Williams.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM Monday July 19, 2021 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Father Kyle Neterer officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
