Leonard A. Bland, 80, of Logansport, passed away Monday July 12, 2021, in his residence.
Born April 23, 1941, in Staten Island NY, Leonard was the son to the late Leonard and Allison (Whaling) Bland.
On June 12, 2004, in Logansport Leonard married Ruth Ellen (Coffin) Helms, who survives.
Leonard was a retired Financial Advisor for Myers Spring. He was an Army Veteran and a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Surviving along with his wife are two sons, Craig J. (Jill) Bland, Franklin, IN; Leo (Jessica) Bland, IL; two daughters, Heather S. (Nester) Bland-Ho, Austin, TX; Rachel (Tony) Hauschildt, MN; step-son, Jeffrey Derouin, McRae, AR; three step-daughters, Patti (Steve) Woodward, Stockton, CA; Jessica (Chris) Tucker, South Bend, IN; Desiree St. John; Auburn, CA; eleven grandchildren, Sophia, Nicolas, Ethan, Benjamin, Jackson, Tyler, Alexa, Sabrina, Carsten, Cooper and Noelle; eight step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 22, 2021, in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Montgomery Officiating. Full military rites will be provided just prior to the service by the Cass County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00pm on Thursday July 22, 2021, in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
