Jackie M Willing, 33, of Bourbon, who fought a long, courageous battle with cancer, passed away this morning, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born May 9, 1988, in Logansport, she was the daughter of James and Donna (Foster) Hettinger.
Jackie was a graduate of Logansport High School.
On June 28, 2007, in Logansport, Jackie was married to Chris Willing, who survives.
Jackie’s world revolved around her boys, who she called, “My Three Sons.” Jackie loved gardening and camping. She loved all animals, especially horses, and enjoyed watching Animal Planet. Jackie was talented in arts and crafts and her coloring and paintings were beautiful.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jackie is survived by three sons, Christopher James Willing III, Mason Lee Willing, and Nelson Allen Willing; three brothers, Jeremy Foster, James Hettinger (Amanda), and Jeffrey Hettinger (Catherine); one sister, Jessie Hettinger; nephews, Gabriel, Liam, Nathan, Kole, Karter and Nolan; and two nieces, Miranda and Morgan.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
