Melissa Ann (Pearson) Stoner, 42, of Kokomo formerly of Logansport passed away unexpectedly at 2:03 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Kokomo.
Born on February 21, 1979 in Logansport, she was the daughter of Marsha and Richard.
She was a 1997 Pioneer High School graduate.
Melissa enjoyed spending time and taking care of her children and grandbabies.
Survivors include her daughter, Miranda Stoner (Austin Luna) of Kokomo, son, Grant Stoner of Kokomo, parents, Marsha and Richard Galbreath of Logansport and Richard (Maria) Pearson of Logansport and paternal grandmother, Kay Galbreath. She is also survived by siblings, Jeremie Pearson (Rachelle) of Logansport, Richie Galbreath (Amanda) of North Carolina, Amanda Galbreath of Logansport, Katie Galbreath (Danny Jackson) of Logansport, Hannah Galbreath of Logansport and Diana Pearson of Logansport, grandchildren, Sophia and Isaac, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Richard Galbreath and maternal grandparents, Everette and Mary Adair.
Missy’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport with Pastor Mark Marshall officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with family expenses.
