Ruth D. Olazaba

Ruth D. Olazaba, 90, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born on January 5, 1931 in Lucerne, Indiana, Ruth is the daughter to the late Jason and Jennie (Crane) Bruner.  On January 14, 1977 in Alamogordo, New Mexico, she married Ysidro H. Olazaba who preceded in death on October 2, 2013.

Ruth was a homemaker and had worked for Acme Dry Cleaners for 30 years in New Mexico.

Surviving are two daughters, Darla (Kenneth) Ruffner; Judy (Mike) Schroder all of Logansport; son, Mark (Jill) Klotz of Camby, IN; daughter in law, Diana Lynn “Dee Dee” Klotz of Indianapolis; three sisters, Dorothy Schneider, Jean Munz, and Barb; one brother, Fred Bruner,  eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Paul Klotz Jr., one grandson and one brother.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory.
