The family of Tyler Padgett, 33, Terre Haute, formerly of Walton, received heartbreaking news on September 6, 2021, that he had passed away in Vigo County, Indiana.
Born January 19, 1988, in Logansport, he was the son of Terry E. Padgett and Carla (Brown) and Michael Wilson.
Tyler attended Lewis Cass High School and earned his GED. For several years, Tyler was employed as an attendant at the Logansport State Hospital. He had also worked at Tyson Foods.
Tyler had earned a black belt in taekwondo. He enjoyed nothing more than hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family. Tyler especially loved being a Daddy.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Carla and Michael Wilson; father, Terry E. Padgett (Gail Gaus); daughter, Braylynn Padgett; grandmother, Dorothy Sargent; siblings, Jason Humphrey (Danelle Cottle), Chad Padgett (Kylie), Brandon Wilson (Julie Thomison), Rashelle Bollinger (Shawn), Brandi Padgett, and Kammille Dunn (Richie); and several nieces and nephews: Taylor Jaret, Joey, Drake, Darian, Josie, Leighandra, Caine, Kambri, Salem, Isaiah, Joven, Sunnie, Shania, Paxton, Reeghan, Lyric, Hollynn, River, and Lily.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Drew Wilson; and his grandparents.
Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life from 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 20 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
