John. S. Million

John S. Million, 75 of Logansport, formerly of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, Northwood Commons, Kokomo.

Born January 5, 1946, in Lafayette, he was the son of the late Richard and Rosemary (Bernfield) Million.

Following graduation from Twin Lakes High School, John served in the Army Indiana National Guard for six years.

In 2007, John retired from McCord’s Auto Supply Store in Monticello after 36 – 1/2 years of employment working with Ross Fisher.

On September 18, 1990, at the Monticello Courthouse, he was married to Judy (Aubrey) Million, who survives.

John enjoyed meeting his aunt, Pat McCall, for lunch at the US Restaurant. He loved working on the farm and caring for his barn cats and his beloved black Newfoundland, Sadie.

Surviving with his wife are his children, Shannon Million, Fowler, Becky Million, and John Million, Jr., both of Kentucky;Michael Million, Michigan, Son, Jeramy Million, Virginia, and one step-son, Tony Bowyers, Akron, Ohio; one step-daughter-in-law, Aubrey Aubrey, Logansport; and three sisters, Jackie (Jess) Sims, Mooresville, Jane (Larry) Overchrome, Peru, and Janice Keifer, Virginia; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three step-children: Jeremy Aubrey, Jeffrey Garver and Kimberly Garver.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 12 at The Cross of the Cross Roads, 1700 East Main Street, Logansport with Rev. Dale R. Hart officiating.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Tuesday.

A graveside committal service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Yeoman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Judy to help with the purchase of a monument.
