Richard W. Lehman

Richard W. Lehman, 77, of Carmel formerly of Pulaski passed away at 6:44 a.m., Friday, October 15, 2021 at home.

Born on May 14, 1944 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Gerald and Donna (Zeider) Lehman.

He was a 1962 Star City High School graduate and then served his country in the U.S. Navy.

On August 17, 1968 he married Marcia M. Reutebuch, she survives.

He retired from Allison’s Transmission in Indianapolis.

Richard was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Amvets.  He enjoyed fishing, Nascar, playing golf in his younger years, mushroom hunting, playing cards and traveling.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia M. Lehman of Carmel, son, Richard Lehman (Pamela) of Indianapolis, daughter, Pamela Leavell (Dennis) of Westfield and grandchildren, Megan, Max and Hunter. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn Brown (Ray) of Evansville and step-brothers, Fred Minnick Jr. (Janice), Tim Minnick (Sandi) and Brad Minnick (Kathy).

He was also preceded in death by brother and sister in law, Terry and Priscella Lehman, step-father, Fred Minnick Sr. and step-brothers, Ed Minnick (Marty) and Dave Minnick.

Graveside with Military rites will be performed at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. Joseph West Catholic Cemetery in Pulaski.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
