Carole Jane Iles Palmer, 86 of Logansport, IN, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Chase Center.

Born November 17, 1934 in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Iles Sr. and the late Geneva F. LaTourrette Iles. She was married January 30, 1976, in Logansport, to the late Lawrence Palmer. He preceded in death in 1999.

A homemaker, Carole was a member of the former St. Joseph Church, now All Saints Catholic Church. When her boys were young, she served as the den mother of Cub Scout Pack 3270 and was past secretary of Boy Scout Troop 270. She was a member of the Royal Center Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, the Royal Center Pythian Sisters Lodge, the Order of White Shrine, the Order of Amaranth and the Rebeckah’s Lodge. She also belonged to the Amercian Legion Post 81 Auxiliary and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790. She was a life member of the L’Anguille Valley Historical Society.

Carole enjoyed reading, playing cards, working puzzles and embroidery. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Steven E. Tow of Logansport, IN; Daughter-in-Law, Dianna Iles of Logansport, IN; and 4 Grandchildren, Rachel (Curtis Baker) Iles, Olivia (Jonah) Martin, Ariel (Ryan Hobson) Iles, Wesley (Hailey Knuckles) Iles; six great-grandchildren, Kendrick Iles, Brycelynn Baker, Curtis Baker Jr., Lennox Lockhart, Vivienne Iles, and Lillian Iles.

She was preceded in death by one son John W. Iles; and one brother Charles E. Iles III.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Fr. Lopez officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
