Cathy Isaacs is the Republican candidate for Cass County assessor and is unopposed in the 2022 general election.

Why did you decide to run for this office?
I worked in the office and when the previous assessor retired I decided to run.
What would you like voters to know about you?
That I am fair and honest and I will talk to anyone and explain why we do what we do.
What are the most important issues related to the office you are seeking?
The boom in the housing market has inflated the value and the assessments of homes.
What are your top priorities for action if elected?
To continue what my staff and I have done for the last 12 years, to do fair assessments.
What’s your vision for the community and what role does the office you are seeking play in achieving it?
My vision is to see Logansport be a booming town again. We are getting downtown going with the breweries and live music! My role is to be fair and equable with assessments.
