Donald Lee Alexander

Donald Lee Alexander, 88, passed away January 5, 2022 after a long illness. He was a resident of Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Winamac for 2 1/12 years.
He was born in 1933 on the McMillen family farm in Jefferson Township, Cass Co., IN to Fred and Ruth McMillen Alexander. He graduated from Winamac High School in 1952 and served as Staff Sargent in the USAF in Morocco, West Africa, and Wadena Minnesota, during the Korean conflict.
He married Nancy Ellen Graves in Farmersburg, IN and returned to Winamac after his discharge from the service. He worked for and retired from Winamac Coil Spring in Kewanna, IN.
He was a licensed clock maker, an accomplished furniture maker and woodworker, and  a long time member of First United Methodist Church in Winamac, where he was on the Board of Trustees for many years.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport and a private family gathering will follow at a later date.
