Paul Hardy

Paul Hardy, 78, of Logansport passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at home.

Born on April 25, 1943 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Donald Paul and Genevieve (Amthauer) Hardy.

On June 23, 1963 he married Carolyn “Kay” Simpson, she survives.

Paul was a retired truck driver.  He enjoyed hauling livestock throughout the Midwest after driving for Dallas & Mavis for 12 years.

He attended Royal Center United Methodist Church and was a member of Teamster’s Union #364.  Paul enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with his wife, Kay.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Hardy of Logansport, children, Paula Daily of Royal Center, Pam Stouder (Brian) of Ft. Wayne, Laura Scott (Branden) of Logansport and Kevin Hardy (Michele) of Walton, brother, John (Carol) Hardy of Walton and sister, Christina Boyer of Logansport.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by brother, Robert Hardy, son in law, Jim Daily and granddaughter, Marisa Daily.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Royal Center United Methodist Church, 204 S. Market St., Royal Center.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 25, 2022 at the church, with visitation one hour prior.

Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of his wife, Kay.
