Scott A Halterman

Scott Alan Halterman, 46, of Logansport, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, February 7, 2022. 

Born on July 31, 1975, in East Ridge, Tennessee, Scott was the son to the late Ray Halterman and Patty (Kneipp) Nead who survives. On September 28th, 2002, Scott married Tasha (Berry) Halterman who survives. 

Scott had a great love for sports. Growing up he played soccer, basketball, baseball and golf.   He especially loved the game of golf. Whether it was a round with friends or a peaceful one by himself, it was one of his favorite things to do. He loved the Chicago Cubs all his life. 

After graduating high school, Scott was a part of Encounter Revival Ministries for two years. He traveled to many states and around the world sharing with countless people his beautiful voice. Scott loved to sing and loved music. He served as a pastor for the past 20 years. He had a tremendous love for people of all ages. 

Surviving along with his wife are three daughters. Maggie, Avery and Sophia. His mom and step dad, Patty and Richard Nead. Brothers Derek (Sommer), Brent (Mindie) and Corey (Lauren). Brother and Sister in Law, Travis and Lindsay Berry along with several nieces and nephews. 

Preceeding him in death were his grandparents, Tom and Phyllis Cummins and James and Maggie Kneipp.

Visitation will be Friday, February 11 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m at Logansport Church of the Brethren, 2405 Shadowlawn Dr Logansport.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 12 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to The Halterman family or to the ministries of Logansport Church of the Brethren.
