Fannie “Sue” Parsley

Fannie “Sue” Parsley, 93, Logansport, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, in her home.

Born January 2, 1929, in DeKalb County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late
Lincoln and Brycie (Sparks) Maggart.

She was married to Samuel Elmer Parsley who preceded her in death.

Fannie was retired from Elco Industries. Prior to the closing of H.W. Gossard, Fannie had worked there as a seamstress for over thirty years.

She was a member of the Helm Street Church of God.

Surviving are three brothers, Bobbie Joe (Yvonne) Maggart, Burnettsville, Jerry (Barb) Maggart, Walton, and David (Susie) Maggart, of Rochester; one sister-in-law, Cathy Maggart, Galveston; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Fannie was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Lucas; and two brothers, Earl Robert Maggart and Jim Maggart.

A Funeral Service celebrating Fannie’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dawn Wild officiating.

Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation hours will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 14 in the funeral chapel.
