Jonathan Andrew Damrow, 38, Royal Center, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 25, 2022, at home.

Born June 26, 1983, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, he was the son of Susan R. (Kiepert) Daniels and Jeffrey Damrow.

Jon earned his Bachelor of Science in business from the University of Phoenix. Before becoming disabled, he had worked as a civilian shipwright for the U.S. Navy.

A family man, Jon was a loving and loyal husband and father. With a large family, they found ways to make weekends at home very special with “Movie Night” on Friday’s, “Game Night” on Saturday’s and “Lego Night” on Sunday’s. Jon enjoyed the outdoors, especially going fishing and participating in shooting sports. He was skilled in woodworking. Jon had a big heart and cared for animals – from the time he was little – he was always rescuing strays. He cared deeply for friends and neighbors and was always wanting to find a way to help others in need. Jon was proud of his service to his Country and was very community-minded when it came to supporting his brothers and sisters in arms.

Surviving with wife, Jennifer Damrow, and his mother, Susan Daniels, Bluffton, Ohio, and father, Jeffrey Damrow, Sheboygan, Wisconsin; are his six beloved children, Jonathan “Xander”, Marissa, Andrew “A.J.”, Ethan, William and Logan Damrow, all at home; four siblings, Jeffrey Damrow, James Damrow, Edward Leiser and Jessica Leiser; his stepsister, Demi Daniels; his grandparents, Kenneth Keipert, and Glen and Vernetta Damrow; and his mother-in-law, Susan Livings.

Jon was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gary Daniels; his grandmother, Evadell Keipert; his stepbrother, Tyler Daniels; and his father-in-law, Michial Livings.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the McHale Complex in Riverside Park.
