Lloyd “Rusty” Stine II

Lloyd “Rusty” Stine, II, 73 of Logansport passed away at 8:05 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on September 30, 1948 in Lafayette, he was the son of the late Lloyd H. and Betty (Sales) Stine.

He was a 1967 Logansport High School graduate.

Rusty formerly worked at Bunge and Indiana Packers.

He was a member of Lifegate Church, he enjoyed watching sports and was beloved coach of many sports including Pixie League softball and Babe Ruth baseball.

Rusty never knew a stranger and loved talking to everyone, his lived by strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet.

He enjoyed sitting on the front porch, drinking a cup of coffee or diet coke watching the wildlife.

Survivors include his children, Rhythm Hartman (Raymond) of Ft. Wayne, Patience Cottrell (Bobby) of Logansport, Mark Stine (Jen) of Walton, Harmony Stine of Lafayette and Cherish Schneidt (Andrew) of Lafayette, sister, Beth Gleason (Scott) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and grandchildren Raiden Hartman, Rylyn Hartman, Remington Hartman, Reagan Hartman, Ryder Hartman, MaKenna Krivak (Ethan), Kendall Cottrell, Greyson Cottrell, Braxton Stotler, MacKenzie Keller (Blake), Ethan Stine, Peyton Stine, Olivia Stine, Madelyn Newman, Hudson Newman, and three bonus grandchildren Joanna, Aadison and Gracie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2022 at Lifegate Church, 831 Burlington Ave., Logansport.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

A private burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
