Marjorie E. Lambert, 85, Logansport, passed away Tuesday evening, March 1, 2022, in Chase Center.

Born August 19, 1936, in Metea, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Mildred (Beineke) Green.

On April 2, 1965, in Logansport, she was married to Donald Lambert, who preceded her in death on August 18, 2005.

Marjorie was the valedictorian of her class at Metea High School. She attended college following high school and was employed at the State Hospital and later, worked as a secretary at Area 5 for several years.

A longtime member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Marjorie had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing in the choir. When she was younger, she enjoyed bowling and square dancing. She was always ready to volunteer in any community service project in which the church was involved – she especially enjoyed getting together with her church family to make noodles. Marjorie was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are children, Scott Lambert, Steve Lambert David (Sami) Lambert, all of Logansport, Beth (Micah) Bell of Valporaiso, IN; step-children, Deb (Fred) Brazzle, Donna Lambert, Pam (David) Johnson, Cheri (Jim) Ling, all of Logansport; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Stanton and one brother Roger Green

A Funeral Service celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 7, in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Teri White officiating.

Burial will follow in Bethlehem United Methodist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 6 in the funeral chapel.
