Rita A. Morgan, 76 of Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Walton, passed away February 25, 2022.
Born on August 2, 1945, in Logansport, she is the daughter to the late Lemoine and Opal (Helvie) Parmeter. Rita had been married to the late Larry Long, the late C. Richard Babb, and the late David F. Morgan.
Rita was a 1963 graduate of Washington Township High School. After high school Rita attended beauty school and then operated “Rita’s Beauty Salon” from her home.
Rita was a member of the Judson Road Christian Church in Kokomo. She enjoyed travelling, casino trips, watching the Home & Garden and Food Networks. Most important to Rita though, were her grandchildren.
Surviving Rita is a son, Timothy J. ( Fiancé Roseann) Long of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Kellie (Todd) Ronk of Galveston, IN; seven grandchildren, Kyle (Leandra) Long of Wadeland, IN, Erin (John) Grillo of the United Kingdom, Drew (Stephanie) McCulley of Rochester,IN; Connor (Heather) McCulley of McCordsville, IN; Trey McCulley of Galveston; Hayley (Fiancé Duncan) Ronk of Galveston, IN, Malley (Kyle) Elliott of Lafayette, IN; ; six great grandchildren, Peyton Long, Eila Grillo Bodhi Grillo, Emery McCulley Benton McCulley, James McCulley; and a brother, Richard Parmeter of Logansport, IN.
A funeral service for Rita A. Morgan will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
