Bonnie Lou Clem, age 74, Frankfort, formerly of Logansport, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in her residence.

Born in Monterey on July 28, 1947, she was the daughter of Elmer and Ida Smith Mahler.

Bonnie was married to Jimmy Ray Smith, who preceded her in death.

A homemaker, Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and going to the casinos.

She loved being a caregiver to anyone in need, especially her family.  She LOVED her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Bonnie made the best potato salad!

Surviving are daughters, Paula (Bob) Bennett, Osceola and Kellie Wallace, Frankfort; sister-in-law: Margaret Zehner, Monterey; grandchildren, Justin, Matt, Jimmy, Dusti, Ryan, Ashli, Brock, Gannon, Tayt and Cayden; great grandchildren, Sterling, Ezra, Boston, Aspen, Logan, Aubrey, Braiden, Brailee, Hunter, Brentle, Leevigh, Finley And Lenora.

Preceding her in death were sons, James Roy Smith and Ron A. Smith; grandson, Brandon Michael Wallace, and great grandson, Brady Wallace.

Bonnie’s visitation will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Kroeger Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:00 with Chico Rodriguez officiating.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bruce Lake.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
