David E. Warpenburg

David E. Warpenburg, 69 of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in his residence.

Born on January 16, 1953, in Logansport, he is the son to the late Charles L. and Wilma (Conrad) Warpenburg. David served his country in the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.

David retired from the Cass County Highway Department where he was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.  He had also worked for Baker Burial Vault Company.

Surviving David is a son, Mark A. Warpenburg of Logansport; brother, Charles (Sandy) Warpenburg of Twelve Mile; granddaughter, Khloe A. Mayer of Ohio, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Warpenburg and one brother, Michael Warpenburg.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial with full Military Graveside Rites will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.

Memorials may be made to the Cass County Honor Guard; envelopes are available at the funeral home.
