John E. Hettinger, age 57, Logansport, passed away at 4:25 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born August 8, 1964, in Logansport, he was the son of John F. and Elizabeth Evelyn Farris Hettinger.
John had been employed in boiler maintenance at Cole Hardwood. He had also been employed with several other jobs.
Surviving are a daughter, Ashley (Zach) Bolin, Kokomo; son, Nicholas “Nick” Hettinger, Logansport; Ashley’s and Nick’s mother, Ardell Hettinger, Logansport; sister, Debra Kay (Albert) Birnell, Logansport; grandson, Grayson Bolin, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Jack Hettinger.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16th, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.
Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Cass County.
