Beverly Sue Sell, age 72, a beautiful soul with a heart for others, has been called home, where she is peacefully sitting by the lake with her toes in the water.
She was born January 26, 1950, in Logansport, to Robert J. and Ruth Montgomery Gerrard who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Mark Sell, and daughter, Amy Sell; brother, John (Nancy) Gerrard.
Beverly graduated from Logansport High School in 1968. After several years as a homemaker, she pursued and earned her nursing degree from Indiana University Kokomo. Throughout her career, she provided compassionate care to patients at Logansport Memorial Hospital, Logansport State Hospital, and Ascension Medical Group.
She was happiest when with family and friends. She was always up for a trip, even as mundane as the grocery store, if it meant spending one more second of quality time with those she loved.
Her most precious attribute was providing stability and peace in a chaotic world; most notably preparing comforting meals during times of need. She never sought accolades, but preferred to serve quietly in the background.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Kroeger Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, also at Kroeger Funeral Home.
