Jacqueline A. (Timmons) Byrkett

Jacqueline A. (Timmons) Byrkett, age 80, formerly of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Indiana University Health North, Carmel.

Born in Logansport on December 1, 1941, she was the daughter of Robert L. and Marjorie J. Walters Timmons.

Jacqueline graduated from Logansport High School in 1959.  She had a Fashion Two-Twenty Make-Up studio from 1964 until she relocated to Indianapolis in 1976.

She retired from St. Vincent Hospital after 27 years, first working in nursing, and then the pharmacy.

She enjoyed retirement with her friends and family.  She loved flowers and gardening. Over the years, she had sheltered many animals and assisted agencies in finding homes for many cats and kittens.

Surviving Jacqueline are son, James L. Norzinskay, Westfield; daughter, Renee A. Trammel, Whitestown; sister, Rebecca (Jerry) Stover, Logansport, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Timmons, Logansport. Also surviving are one uncle, several cousins, nieces, nephews, great – and great-great nieces and nephews, along with six grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Her parents, and brother, John E. Timmons preceded Jacqueline in death.

Jacqueline’s graveside service will be on May 21, 2022, at Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport, at 12:00 noon.  Please meet at 11:45 a.m., at the cemetery’s main entrance at the arch on Pleasant Hill for a procession to the grave.
