Linda D. (Manis) Glassburn

Linda Diane (Manis) Glassburn, 60, went to be with our savior Jesus Christ to live forever more.  She left this earth in Young America with her husband by her side Tuesday May 10, 2022.  She was born February 17, 1962, in Baltimore Maryland to N.H. and Glenda Manis.

At the age of 3 they moved to Kokomo.  Later in life Linda married Joseph Glassburn.  They were married for 36 years.  Linda loved going to church.  She attended Upper Deer Creek Church and Solid Rock ministries.  She loved taking care of her grandchildren.  She was a caretaker for many people and had worked at several places.  She was a good seamstress and enjoyed working with her flowers and taking care of her rabbits.

Linda was a good person and had a heart of gold.  She was always helping someone.  She liked pretty clothes and always wore a pretty head band and a flower in her hair.  She could talk to anyone.  She will be missed until we meet again in that promise land.

Surviving family include her husband, Joseph Glassburn; daughter, Joeylynn (Shannon) Frum and grandchildren Phoenix Glassburn and Reba Thompson all Young America, IN. She is also survived by a son, Matthew (Abby) Thompson of Peru and their children Zachary and Lillian.  She is survived by her mother, Glenda Manis, sister, Lesa Manis, brother, Tony (Sandy) Manis and their children of Kokomo.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with her brother Pastor Tony Manis officiating.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Howard County.   Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Solid Rock Ministries or Kokomo Humane Society, both of Kokomo.   Murray Weaver Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
