Wilber Glenn Stroup

Wilbur Glenn Stroup, 93, of Logansport, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on October 31, 1928, in South Bend, IN, Glenn is the son to the late Wilbur and Glenice (Keck) Stroup. On December 23, 1950, in South Bend, he married Phyllis J. Davidson who preceded in death on October 17, 2003.

Glenn retired as an Industrial Education Teacher for Logansport High School. He was a member of the Logansport Church and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving Glenn are two daughters, Barbara Wells of Phoenix, AZ, Sharon (Mike) Fry of Muncie, IN; two sons, Phillip G. (Ann) Stroup of Williamston, SC, Kenneth L. (Lorrie) Stroup of Lewes, DE; six granddaughters, Lacie (Jordon) Garringer of Albany, IN, Vanessa (Phil) Bohannon of Milford, IN, Whitney Wells, Alexandra  Stroup, Makenzie Stroup, Annastasia Stroup; three grandsons, Wesley Wells, Brandon (Diana) Stroup, Dustin  Stroup; four sisters, Laurene Davis of Edwardsburg, MI, Esther Zapalski of North Liberty, IN, Jennie( Pete) Krumrey of Grand Rapids, MI, Edith Becker of Mishawaka, IN; one sister-in-law, Brenda Stroup, Versailles, KY; several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Stroup and a brother, Jerry Stroup.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday May 26, 2022, at the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Aaron Gross officiating. Burial with full military will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 am until time of services on Thursday
