Bastian Eli Weldy, newborn son of Jalyn Elaine Louthain and Austin Michael Weldy, entered this world three weeks early at 3:07 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru. Born silent to this world, yet his life speaks volumes to the hearts he touched and the love he leaves behind.
Surviving with his parents are his sister, Oreana Alice Weldy; maternal grandparents, Jane and Tony Homburg, and Tracy Louthain; paternal grandparents, John and Jennifer Beaird; maternal great-grandparents, Mary Homburg, and Terry and Becky Homburg; paternal great-grandparents, Janet and Jerry Beaird, and Carol Whitlock; uncle, Derek Klimes; aunts, Ashley Williams, Breyanna Beaird, Lexie Goodnight, Audry Aldridge, Mary Jane Homburg, and Claudia Homburg; and four cousins.
He was greeted in Heaven by his maternal great-grandparents, Claudia Winegardner, Thomas Hall, Mary (Ream) Anderson and Steve Louthåin.and paternal great-grandparents, Clee Weldy Sr. And Robert Ritter Sr.
A Funeral Service celebrating Bastian’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Sherry Weldy officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery’s Baby Walk, 1800 Grant Street, Logansport.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 – 3 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel.
