E. Gerry Cochran

E. Gerry Cochran, age 85, of Logansport, passed away Thursday June 9, 2022, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born October 24, 1936, in Logansport, IN, Gerry is the son to the late Edgar and Thelma (Andrews) Cochran. On May 28, 1960, in Logansport he married Judy Ann Zimmerman who survives.

Gerry owned and operated Cochran Shell Service Station on East Broadway. He enjoyed watching westerns, fishing, mushroom hunting, bird watching and guns. He was a former member of the Logansport Jaycees and served in the National Guard for 6 years. Gerry’s children and grandchildren meant the world to him and he enjoyed every moment he got to spend with them.

Survivors include his wife Judy and two daughters, Tracy (Vic) Clements, Lucerne, IN; Jennifer (Jon) Sera, Lakewood, CO; two sons, Jeff Cochran, Logansport, IN; Mike Cochran, Logansport, IN; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Cochran, Logansport, IN; Bob (Brenda) Cochran, Royal Center, IN; and George (Diane) Cochran of Michigan.

Gerry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jim Cochran.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday June 15, 2022, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Eckerley officiating.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of service on Wednesday.
