Meta Jane Nelson, 97, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born on November 20, 1924, in Bethlehem Township, Meta Jane is the daughter to the late Charles and Grace (Sloop) Oliver. On October 2, 1947, in Young America, IN, she married Paul E. Nelson who preceded in death on September 7, 2002. On May 1, 2004, in Logansport, she married Harry Robert “Bob” Summers who preceded in death on June 2, 2009.
Meta Jane was a graduate of Metea High School and had worked at R.B.M.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Louise Pufahl and Frances Kryder; and a brother, Joseph Oliver.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 5588 Indiana 25 North, Logansport, IN 46947.
