Parker Glen Abbott

Parker Glen Abbott, 14, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Born on March 19, 2008 in Warsaw, he was the son of Ronald Abbott and Selena Devault.

Parker was a student at Lewis Cass High School and a proud member of the Lewis Cass Marching Band and Drama Club family.  He enjoyed writing and composing music, Scouts, 4H, fishing, cooking ( it was either amazing or terrible never an in-between) gaming, camping and spending time with friends.

Survivors include his mom, Selena Devault (Zack Selleck) of Peru, his dad, Ron Abbott (Lauryn Corgard) of Kokomo, sisters, Faith Abbott of Kokomo, Liberty Mitchell and Rylan Mitchell both of Georgetown, brother, Clive Abbott of Kokomo, paternal grandmother, Margaret Roberts of Arizona and great grandmother, Sandi Funk of Wabash.  He is also survived by 5 step siblings and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. 

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ronald J. Abbott, Glen and Dortha Parker, Betty Devault, Clive Funk and Alene and Glenn Abbott.

A Celebration of Parker’s life will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2022 at the funeral home.
