Last Updated on July 28, 2022 by Kroeger Funeral Home

The family of Richard Lambert “Rick” Clements is saddened to announce his passing on Friday, July 22, 2022, at the age of 60.

Born in Cairo, Illinois on July 2, 1962, he was the son of Richard Clements and Joan Halsema Frushour.

Rick attended Taylor High School and spent most of his life as a construction laborer working for companies such as Grable Burial Vault Service, Syndicate Sales and most recently, Fortune Management.

He had a heart of gold and was known to give anyone in need his last few dollars or the shirt off his back.  He was a gracious host and made sure everyone had a plate of his delicious food or a drink in their hand.

Rick could put a smile on anyone’s face.  He had a way of telling stories and could make anyone laugh.

In addition to being a huge music lover of most genres, he really enjoyed the outdoors.  You could always find him fishing, crossbow hunting, sitting by a fire, or at any sprint car race.

He was the life of the party and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Rick is survived by his siblings, Dave (Pam) Clements, Becky (Jon) Wicker; Mark Clements (Jennifer Rogers); step-mother, Linda Clements; and brother-in-law, Jeff Phillips; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Jane Phillips.

No service will be held at this time.  A celebration life will be scheduled at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kroeger Funeral Home.
