Corey L. Elzbeck, age 44, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Thursday evening, August 4th, in his residence.

Born November 11, 1977, in Logansport, he was the son of Teresa Elzbeck, who resides in Logansport. His father, C. J. Baker, preceded him in death.

Corey had been a certified medical assistant at the Miami Correctional Facility for eighteen years.

He was a 1996 graduate of Logansport High School and earned an associate’s degree as a certified medical technician at Ivy Tech. He enjoyed vacationing and amusement parks, guns and flipping houses.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are aunts and uncles, Jim and Patty Elzbeck, Adriene Roland, Dana and Terry Darland, Barb and Josh Elzbeck, Kathy and Jerry Fields, Susan and Terry Dixon, Tina and Mark Rombold; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are pending at a later date.

The family requests to omit flowers.
