Margaret Ann “Mardi” Koske, age 77, Logansport, passed away at 8:59 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Community Howard Hospital, Kokomo.
Born June 13, 1945, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Leonard and Patricia Besse Koons.
Mardi was married to Jeffrey Koske, who passed away August 20, 2021.
Mardi and her husband were the owners and proprietors of the R Bar. They had also owned the Fireside Restaurant & Lounge.
Mardi attended St. Joseph’s parochial school and Logansport High School.
Surviving are a daughter, Laurie (Garland) Hughes, Hickory, NC; grandsons, Graham (Sarah) Hughes and Brenham Hughes.
Mardi’s sisters are Judy (Doug) Bowyer, Columbia City, Betty Lane and Rebecca “Becky” (John) Tidrick, all of Logansport; a number of nieces and nephews.
A sister, Jane Smith, and brother, Bob Koons, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service is scheduled for 12 Noon Saturday at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Fr. Gustavo Lopez officiating.
Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
