Mary Emma Jolly, age 88, Logansport, passed away at 1:35 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, in Chase Center, lovingly surrounded by her daughters.

Born August 14, 1934, in Logansport, she was the daughter of John and Mildred Martin Drummond.

On May 16, 1953, in St. Vincent’s Church, she married Harry E. Jolly, who preceded her in death November 12, 2015.

Mary Emma had worked in the catalogue department at the Logansport Sears store. She and her husband also owned and operated the Lake View Motel in Lake Cicott.

A Logansport High School graduate in 1952, she was a devout and faithful Catholic.

She enjoyed flowers, playing euchre, Bunco and horseshoes. Swimming and boating were favorite past-times, but she especially enjoyed being with her family and friends.

Surviving are three daughters, Cindy L. Beck, Monticello, Reba James, Logansport, Lori Jolly-Brown (Brian), Delphi; brother, Jay Drummond, New York City; sister, Diane Kinnard (Tom), Kokomo.

Also surviving are grandchildren, Krystal Vail (Eddie), Justin Beck (Tonya), Dillon Brown (Marah), Kyra Brown (fiancé, Wyatt Lucas); ten great grandchildren, Libby, Eryn, Jerry, Colton, Shaneile, Brianna, Kourtney, Kennedy, Ava and Gabe; four great-great grandchildren, Coraline, Carter, Carlee and Cain; many nieces and nephews of several generations.

Mary Emma was preceded in death by four brothers, Jack Drummond, Jerry Drummond, Tom Drummond, Max Drummond and two sisters, Becky Schnepp and Suzie Bullock.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31st, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Gustavo Lopez officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, prior to Mass, in the Parish Hall at All Saints Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited before Mass in the Parish Hall, at the conclusion of visitation.

Masses may be contributed in lieu of flowers. Envelopes will be available at visitation.
