Danny R. Spencer, 62, of Logansport passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at home.
Born on December 21, 1959 in Kokomo, he was the son of the Harley “Butch” and Judy (Smith) Spencer.
Danny was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He formerly worked as a taxi cab driver for Busy B Cab Service.
Danny enjoyed professional wrestling, Nascar and watching football. He attended Bethel Temple Church in Logansport where he was recently Baptized.
Survivors include his children, Danny Spencer, Jr. (Rebecca) of Michigan, Shane Spencer of Michigan, Scott Spencer (Sarah) of Michigan, Bill Spencer (Danielle) of Michigan, Natasha Spencer (Steve) of Logansport, Danielle Sowards (Mason) of Logansport and Rebecca Spencer (Chase) of Logansport, mother, Judy Spencer of Logansport and sisters, Lynn Layman (Jay Dee) of Logansport and Karen Thompson (Dale) of Wyoming. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harley “Butch” Spencer and brother, Gene McVay, Sr.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 3, 2022 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
A private burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
